Google has made new updations in 2011, which everyone was closely looking at. The major updates were Google Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, and mobile Gideon. These updations have changed the face of Google

Panda 2011

Google panda update is introduced in  February 2011. panda update is related to content farming. it related to duplicate content as low-quality content, grammatical mistake leany pages, keyword stuffing. content spinning is a specific righting technique.  They updated the main algorithm in Panda, but this was the first massive pain in the neck for websites.panda 4.0 updation is a strong algorithm change is affected to millions of content duplication pages removed by 4.0.

Penguin update

It is related to link spamming it avoided low-quality links or websites that give spammy links and keyword. link spamming includes exchange websites between more links or paid links. Comment spamming is related to build links using the comment link of a blog potion.

Wiki spamming

Is related to Wikipedia every one who can access the internet and edit the content they never had added no follow tag, so all links from it are counted as a valuable link to any site.

It added a no follow tag, so it tells the search engine not to pass any link power to that link.

Gust blogging

Which means publishing a different article on the website as a gust.In this method where you can write an article for a website and get a link to your website/blog in return.

Hummingbird

Google update hummingbird in 2016 it's a deep search result information it gives as a semantic search result. In the meantime, google add Artificial Intelligence method (Rank brain) it is a continuity of hummingbird google used artificial intelligence as a search ranking method which men's group people searched for a cordless headset in a different manner. Google plays as a person with high intelligence.

Exact match domain it avoids website developed in exact match keywords is a filter Google launched in September 2012 to prevent poor quality sites from ranking well simply because of the hard words that match search terms in their domain names. When a fresh exact match domain update happens, sites that have improved their content may regain good rankings.

Avoid indexing websites maintained as a parked domain.

Pirates updation

Pirate Update is a filter came into existence in 2012 designed to prevent sites with many copyright infringement reports, as filed through Google’s DMCA system, from ranking well in Google’s listings. The filter is periodically updated. When it occurs sites previously impacted may escape, if they’ve made the right improvements. The filter may also catch new sites that escaped being caught before, plus it may release “false positives” that were caught. EG-duplicate content, image, videos which are slightly using infringing original URL.

Mobile Gideon

It is a mobile-friendly updation google started ranking website which is mobile friendly by their mobile-friendly updates. Google has announced new mobile friendly search ranking algorithm that's designed to give a boost to mobile-friendly pages in Google's mobile search results. which means we can access webpages mobile with and size.
